LegalSifter Receives Growth Investment, Successfully Exits Cypress Portfolio

We are proud to announce that LegalSIfter, a Cypress Fund III portfolio company, has received a significant outside equity investment and successfully exited our portfolio, two and a half years after our initial investment.

Born in 2013 out of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, a city at the heart of the artificial intelligence evolution, LegalSifter is an advanced technology company that leverages differentiated AI and human expertise to provide pre-and post-signature contracts-related software and managed services.

Cypress invested in the company in October 2020 and LegalSifter has grown rapidly since then, expanding beyond its U.S. roots to provide services in 18 countries.
