Cypress Growth Capital Invests In PickNik Robotics

Headquartered in Boulder, Colorado and founded in 2015, PickNik serves a wide range of industries, including aerospace, manufacturing, agriculture, defense and logistics. The company is a leader in developing sophisticated software that operates effectively in unstructured environments such as space stations, disaster zones, underwater and agriculture. Picknik’s flagship software platform, MoveIt Studio, leverages years of experience developing open-source robotics applications and improves the way operators plan and execute robotic tasks, enhancing their precision and efficiency.

Cypress Partner Pat McCaffrey explained why Cypress chose to invest in PickNik: “As use cases for robotics applications become more complex, PickNik’s expertise and track record of solving the most difficult robotics problems is highly differentiated in this $230B market. With MoveIt Studio, PickNik is able to leverage that experience and deliver it to an even broader customer base.”
Cypress’ capital will be used to continue to enhance MoveIt Studio and accelerate growth in sales and marketing.
