Cypress Growth Capital Invests in StorageDefender

Cypress Growth Capital is pleased to announce our investment in StorageDefender, a Denton, TX–based company modernizing environmental and activity monitoring for the self-storage industry.

Founded in 2018 by Mark Cieri and Nathan Wright, StorageDefender pairs connected sensors and proprietary cameras with software purpose-built for self-storage, giving tenants direct visibility into what's happening inside their units, including temperature, humidity, and motion. For operators, the platform serves as both a differentiated amenity and a new revenue stream. Today, StorageDefender is deployed across more than 900 facilities across 42 states.

StorageDefender will invest Cypress' non-dilutive growth capital in expanding its sales and client success teams and in continued AI and product development.
